Thanks to its race-bred chassis, wide profile tyres and new electric power steering combined with Brake Assist, ABS and EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), Mégane achieves a level of handling and road holding usually reserved for supercars. The driver and passengers are protected by the Renault SRP (System for Restraint and Protection) consisting of adaptive airbags, anti-submarining airbags (Sport Hatch) and rear seatbelts with pre-tensioner and load limiter.
